About Us
What to expect.
Our small family run dog home boarding and day care facility provides a loving 'home from home' experience for your dog. Based in Istead Rise, Kent, we have the luxury of farm land and woodland walks on our doorstep to explore.
Every dog will be treated as part of our happy family and our own soft, lap loving Cockapoo will be happy to share our home with them.
My partner and two adult children are dog lovers too, so cuddles and lots of attention they will receive. Our spacious, clean and comfortable home is open to them, including our large secure garden. We will ensure that your dog is given the best of care in a professional but loving way.
An average day will include, two long walks, welfare checks, daily grooming, enrichment time, one to one playtime and attention, as well as group play and down time when needed. Each dogs’ needs will be taken into consideration, especially if they are senior, a puppy or have medical needs. We have interactive toys to ensure your dog gets the stimuli they need.
We are happy to provide updates/pictures to you so you can see your dog is having a whale of a time whilst in our care.

Home Boarding is suitable for dogs that are sociable and friendly towards other dogs and humans and are fully house trained.

We are proud to have been awarded a 4 star Licence from Gravesham Borough Council.
To receive this higher-standards level licence, a Level 3 qualification in Canine Welfare and Care in a Professional Home Boarding and Day Care Setting and a Level 2 in Canine First Aid were obtained.
To give you added assurance, we are also enhanced DBS checked and have full business insurance.
Our home and garden were also inspected to ensure we can offer a clean and safe environment. Our garden is fully enclosed, and we have security cameras around our property. Priority will always be to ensure that your dog receives the care and attention they deserve whilst in our care.
Each dog is allocated a room in our home upon arrival. This is where they can retreat to should they wish to take ‘time out’ to snooze or for a bit of ‘me’ time.
Careful consideration when mixing dogs from different households will always be a priority, it is important to us that all the dogs feel safe and happy in each other’s company . Dogs are social animals; your pet will enjoy having friends around to play with in our lovely garden and home.

About me
Hi, my name is Jenny. I have had the privilege of having dogs and other pets in my life from a very early age. Our first family dog was a black, very mischievous and cheeky Labrador called 'Bluey', followed by 'Sherry', a Chow/Poodle mix we adopted after her original owner was no longer able to care for her. She was such a sweet, contented girl and a great companion to us all.
When working long days in London for a Publishing Company I had to take a break from owning a dog. Then my two wonderful children came along and I became a stay-at-home mum and a proud dog owner once more.
We have had the pleasure of our 9 year old Cockapoo’s company since he was a pup and well if I’m being honest, he is like my third child. My partner is never quite sure where he sits in the pecking order.
Starting up this business has been a dream of mine for a long time. I have looked after friends and families’ dogs for many years and have enjoyed every moment. I wanted to offer this service to others and ensure that I was able to offer the high standards and quality of care that I would expect my own dog to receive when being looked after. I therefore worked hard in creating the right environment, and by gaining my 4 star Animal Home Boarding Licence to ensure my business was ‘above board’. Clients can be assured that I am committed to ensuring their dogs wellbeing will always be my priority.
